Registration of pilgrims for the annual Amarnath pilgrimage, The registration began across the country through 174 bank branches and internet based e-registration system.The registration through Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s website began yesterday while while registration through 100 post offices.The Amarnath yatra will commence simultaneously from Baltal and Chandanwari routes on June 25 and culminate on August 2.

The Registration charges for every single yatri is Rs 15 only.The Amarnath yatra Online Registration will be done only at the JK Bank’s Official Website (www.jkbank.net) Yatris who have e-Yatra Permits shall be required to submit the prescribed Health Certificate at Baltal/Chandanwari and get their e-Yatra Permits stamped (by the officials of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board), before being allowed to proceed onwards to the Holy Cave.


After successful Payment and Confirmation, the system will generate Yatra Permit Card, that must be printed and preserved till the completion of Yatra.All the registered pilgrims have been provided free accident insurance cover of Rs one lakh, Zonal Head Jammu and Kashmir Bank OP Sharma told reporters on Monday
